25 Library Terrace - the cover

I’m delighted to be able to share the cover of 25 Library Terrace.
Publication day is the 5th June which is three weeks today, and I’m definitely starting to get excited now.
The designer at Embla, my publisher, has done a superb job and the cover is everything I hoped for.
A friend has done an architectural drawing of the layout of the ground and first floor of the house, and that’s on the first couple of pages of the book, so you’ll be able to imagine walking through the front door with Ursula in 1911, and a hundred years later, doing the same with Tess in 2011.
There is baking, ice cream, a (real) vintage handbag you can see on the Victoria and Albert Museum website, old letters, and a dog called Baxter. It’s not a love story, but just as in The Sewing Machine, you can’t have a book spanning more than a hundred years without a little romance along the way.
Three weeks.
THREE WEEKS.
Amazing.

Couldn't resist, sorry!
